Tower Barn at Broadway Tower
As the window and door supplier for the Tower Barn project at Broadway Tower, we were privileged to contribute to the creation of a contemporary visitor centre that seamlessly integrates with its historic surroundings. The project involved converting existing buildings into a visitor centre and e-bike hire reception, as well as constructing a new facility for e-bike storage and an expanded food preparation area for the estate’s café.
To achieve the architectural vision of a bright and welcoming space, we installed high-performance Schüco large sliding doors and bespoke custom windows. The Schüco sliding doors provide expansive glass surfaces with minimal profiles, allowing for panoramic views of the picturesque Cotswolds landscape and facilitating a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor areas. These doors not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also offer superior thermal insulation and durability, essential for the high visitor traffic anticipated at the centre.
Our bespoke custom windows were tailored to fit the unique design requirements of the Tower Barn, ensuring that each window complemented the building’s architectural features while maximizing natural light. The combination of these glazing solutions has resulted in a space that is both functional and visually striking, providing visitors with an inviting environment to enjoy the café, shop, and various activities offered at the centre.
