Shipton: Structural Glazing Pool House

This ambitious and complex project involved the construction of a luxurious new-build leisure and entertaining suite, meticulously designed to complement and enhance an existing Grade II listed building. The leisure suite boasts a wide array of premium facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, a tranquil spa area, a private cinema, a fully equipped bar, and a modern gymnasium. In addition to these leisure amenities, the development also features a professional catering facility and well-appointed guest accommodation, designed to cater to both private and social gatherings. This combination of luxury and functionality makes the space perfectly suited for hosting events, relaxing with family, or accommodating guests.

One of the most significant challenges associated with this project was the need to carefully balance modern luxury with the preservation of the existing Grade II listed structure. Throughout the 15-month construction period, meticulous attention was given to every detail to ensure the integration of contemporary elements without compromising the building’s historic significance.
