Druid House, Bristol: Schüco Aluminium
Our clients approached us to help transform the rear of their beautiful home, which was being overshadowed by a large, outdated covered swimming pool. They wanted a spacious, single-storey extension that would complement the original house while creating a modern, open-plan kitchen and living area, seamlessly connecting the house to the garden.
Working closely with the design team, we played a key role in bringing this vision to life by supplying and installing high-performance glazing solutions that not only enhanced the aesthetic but also improved functionality. A standout feature of the project was the use of Schüco high-performance sliding doors and façade glazing.
These premium systems allowed us to create expansive glass walls, flooding the new space with natural light and providing uninterrupted views of the garden. The Schüco sliding doors are renowned for their sleek, minimal profiles, which ensure a clean, modern look while maintaining excellent thermal performance. Their smooth operation and robust construction made them the perfect choice for this project, allowing for easy transitions between the indoor and outdoor areas.
By carefully integrating the Schüco façade glazing, we maintained the architectural integrity of the original house while providing a contemporary feel to the extension.
